Suddeth Rattlin' Little Earl
The Suddeth Rattlin' Little Earl was based on a hand-carved crankbiat by Earl Suddeth, a legendary crankbait maker from Georgia. This finesse crankbait was a staple in the Southeast and is one of the tightest wiggling crankbaits ever made--and it gets bit! It weighs a 1/4 oz, is 3 1/4" long and will dive to 7-10 feet on 8-10lb line.
Some people might like to throw it on a BFS baitcaster, and others prefer a spinning rod. Either way, you need to be throwing it. It's one of my favorite finesse cold water crankbaits ever made. They are not widely available and so the fish haven't seen them or felt their vibration. These baits are made out of a floating dense foam with a single subtle ticker which makes them behave like balsa. Limited quantities.
